Energy Star Rating

Energy Star Rating is an energy efficiency initiative by the government which recognizes and certifies commercial buildings that have more outstanding energy performance compared to similar buildings nationwide.

Energy Tax Credits

The Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings Tax Deduction (26 U.S.C. § 179D) grants property owners a tax deduction for investments made to increase the energy efficiency of their building to up to 50% or more. Tauscher Cronacher Engineers can assist you avail these tax credits to help reduce your energy consumption expenses. Energy Audits

One of the most important factors to be considered for efficiency planning is the conduct of energy audits. In this process, the primary energy sources used in the building (electricity, natural gas, district heat, fuel oil, etc.) are identified and analyzed to show which source can be further optimized for better efficiency. The findings will then be used to formulate strategies and practices to reduce consumption.
